Welcome,
You have many that come against woman pastors. As to why some would think that us Christian woman should be silent and others know we too are able just as men to preach.
As, we will be going over some Very Important Scripture in the Bible concerning can woman preach?
Holy Spirit of Truth has given you Spiritual hunger for the Kingdom of God. No one at all, whatsoever can keep you silence from your anointing, or your talents or your gifts that was given to you by of course the Blood of The Lord Jesus Christ Amen!
We as Christian woman, have also the authority in Christ to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Unto The Whole World just as men too can.
We must always let the Holy Spirit flow though the ministry. As letting the Lord use who ever it may be for his good.
There is more than enough Christian Ministries in this world for everyone who is called to pastor to take there part of work in the body of Christ. This is not about having dominance or power over you. For Every Christian Man or Woman or Child they need to let the Holy Spirit flow within them to be able to bring the kingdom of God to earth with love. To be able to get souls to the Lord Jesus Christ Amen!
As we can read in scriptures from the Bible, know where does it say a woman can not preach. But on the contrary, there are many verses that encourage both men and women to preach the Gospel.
The Bible teaches that God is not a respecter of persons, and He will use any and all who will yield to Him, regardless of race, age, or sex.
1 Corinthians 9:14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Galatians 3:28 "...neither male nor female...for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
"Preach the Gospel," to ALL the world that means all male and female.
It is an undeniable fact that God has called and anointed women to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. God had also ordained women who are pastoring, teaching, evangelizing, and mission work doing the works they was called to do of God. As God, using woman just as he uses man and children of all ages for the call of salvation for the lost, deliverance from their sins, gifts of the Spirit, and infilling of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible Makes it very clear as we read: "Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm." And may we be reminded of the Scripture in
Acts 5:39, "If it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."
Many are against woman pastors for they say, God does not call women to preach. Which is kinda like saying God does not baptize us with the Holy Spirit. Which we know he does. As we have surly witnessed and of course experienced it of own.
I would be afraid to condemn women preachers, lest I would be found to be fighting against God, and to be committing the vile sin of attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to the devil.
Fulfillment of Bible Prophecy and Sign of Christ's soon return.
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Acts 2:17-18 17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Bible Declares Women Will Prophesy: Both the Hebrew (Nebrah), and Greek (Prophecy) used for prophetess means (female preacher). The word "Prophet" means a public expounder. "Prophesy" means to speak forth, or flow forth.
Dictionary says, prophesy is "to speak under divine inspiration...to preach."
The original translation, from the Bible interpretation, and from the dictionary, that to prophesy means more than to tell the future, but it is to speak publicly about the past, present, or future. It is to preach under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
1 Corinthians 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
Woman forbidden to speak in church and was to keep silent!
Would God inspire and anoint someone to do something that was wrong and sinful???
19 times in the Greek Old Testament, and less than a dozen times in the New Testament. A careful examination of the term reveals that the context identifies the nature of the “silence” under consideration.
When the Israelites, was pursued by the Egyptians, at the Red Sea, they were terrified; they complained to Moses. He told them that the Lord would fight for them; they were to “hold [their] peace means be silent. David described certain hardships — as he “kept silence” he was not speaking of general silence, but silence regarding his sin.
Exodus 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
Psalm 32:3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
(There is a difference between a prophet, and the gift of prophecy.)
God called and used women preachers in the Old Testament.
Corinthians 14:34-35 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
It is best for the woman to ask of her husband. If woman stay silence in the churches. Then they would be keeping silent on their anointing, their talents and their gifts from the Lord. Then they would not be able to teach in Sunday Class School, Pray, Sing, Testify or be able to get saved in the name of Jesus.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:16-18 16But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Paul was referring to a particular problem in the church. Women were not that well educated as were the men in that day as they are now. The women would talk back and forth to their husbands in church and ask questions about the sermon.
If a woman cannot speak in church, then she is unable to speak in prayer meeting, church services, etc. The Lord Jesus Christ's Church is not a building, but rather it is found where two or three are gathered together in His name, whether at a street meeting, in a tent, a home, church, classroom or anywhere else it my over the phone too.
That Christ is over the man, Man is over his wife the woman. The woman should not over take authority of the man. As this is not a rule for women of churches but more of a guide line. If it were a rule , then the women could not speak at all, for the same verse that tells them not to teach also tells them to be silent.
If all women had to keep silent in church, then that would be promoting disobedience to God, for they could not prophesy, pray, testify, sing, exhort, do personal work, or even get saved.
Verse's used to oppose women preaching and yet it says nothing about preaching, nor does it say anything about a public worship or church service. This verse is giving instructions to wives as to how they were to conduct themselves in regard to their husband. Paul says in
1 Corinthians 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
As it states in;
1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Paul is dealing with more of a home problem than a church problem clears that up.
The wife/woman is not to usurp authority over her husband (in church, home, or any place else). should rather be silent and in subjection to her husband.
1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
To condemn women preachers and women church workers is a serious offense, because God has stamped His approval on them by His Spirit over and over again, and who is man to fight against the Spirit of God?
To condemn women preachers is saying that they are nothing in the Body of Christ!
